ECG- Electrocardiogram

This test is a basic heart investigation and oldest method to diagnose various conditions of the heart. Even today ECG is the most reliable investigation to diagnose Acute Heart Attack (myocardial infarction), and monitoring the progress of the disease. Apart from acute heart attacks it can diagnose Coronary heart disease, enlargement and hypertrophy of heart chambers, various heart rhythm abnormalities (arrhythmia), etc.

Both Kathmandu and Pokhara APC clinics are equipped with fully computerized and automatic ECG machines. ECG is done by our trained Cardiac Nurses everyday 7am to 7pm (Saturdays 7am to 1 pm) and later report confirmed by our cardiologists in their respective hours.
