TOPIC: Celebrating World Diabetes Day

14th Nov is recognized as the World Diabetes Day. According to WHO 422 Million Adults have diabetes out of which 1.5 million deaths are caused by the diabetes itself. With the motive of spreading awareness about diabetes and its cons, Advanced Poly Clinic, Pokhara together with Rotaract Club of Pokhara and Rotaract Club of Fishtail organised a FREE DIABETES TEST CAMP in Pokhara.
The
FREE DIABETES TEST was valid for the period of one week, where the dedicated members of the club and staffs of APC were able to serve more than 200 patients with the BLOOD GLUCOSE TEST.


Diabetes is on rise and the major reason for people being diabetic is due to their unhealthy lifestyle and lack of proper exercise. Annually various kinds of health camps are organised at APC but the Diabetes test tops all, reason being more people are prone to the risk, heredity and imbalanced diet and lifestyle.

The data's of the patient flow during the FREE DIABETES TEST was so remarkable that APC, Pokhara has decided to extend the date for the FREE TEST for the WHOLE MONTH OF NOVEMBER.
